Chapters had the pleasure of planning and decorating for these Women in Harmony and Universal Children's Day Book Launch
held by the Office of the Prime Minister, there are upcoming events in
which we are carded for due to our loyalty and professionalism shown to
the ministry.
WOMEN IN HARMONY
The Office of the Prime Minister (Gender
and Child Affairs) on Sunday 21st August, 2016, celebrated the graduation of
three hundred and three (303) men, women from the Women in Harmony, Defining
Masculine Excellence and Food Preparation and Home Management for Men and Boys
Programmes. The Women in Harmony boasted fifty one (51) successful participants
from Jerningham, Vessigny and St Joseph with training in Agriculture/
Landscaping and Elderly Care. The Defining Masculine Excellence Programme
completed its six week course with ninety three (93) participants from the
communities of Sangre Grande, Port of Spain and Point Fortin.
UNIVERSAL CHILDREN'S DAY BOOK LAUNCH
Port-of-Spain: The Office of the Prime Minister
(Gender and Child Affairs) in commemoration of Universal Children’s Day
launched two publications entitled My Book of Rights and
Responsibilities and Reach Out: A Guide to Child Friendly Services on
Friday 18th November, 2016 at Port-of-Spain City Hall.
The Office of the Prime Minister (Gender and Child Affairs) recognizes
that children are in need of our care, support and attention to reach
their fullest potential.
